DISAPPOINTMENT AS CARROLL MISSES OUT ON PODIUM
Great Britain’s Adam Carroll narrowly missed out on his second podium of the weekend at the Nurburgring in Germany. The Racing Engineering driver finished 5th in the 24 lap sprint race.
With 6 stallers on the grid, Adam moved up from 6th to 3rd by the first corner passing Jose Maria Lopez, whom he grabbed the podium off in the final meters of yesterday’s race. But later in today’s round, Lopez was to have his revenge and deliver the same blow to the Irishman.
It was Lewis Hamilton who cut through the field and despite holding him off for several laps, Adam was powerless as the ART driver sped past on his way to victory.
