Nathan Freke - Oulton Park Update

Nathan Freke was setting the pace at the last test session at Oulton Park today, prior to this weekends opening meeting at the Cheshire circuit. During the 3rd test session on an absolute flying lap Nathan lost control of the car and careered into the barriers. Thankfully Nathan only suffered a bruised ankle as the battery came loose in the impact, the car however is missing 3 corners, which the Jamun Racing team are rebuilding overnight to use in the official test tomorrow. The data logger shows that the impact was at 120.4 mph, and carried 9.2g on impact and 8.4g on the rebound, the car left the track at 129 mph. Nathan commented ' I was looking for some extra speed and the front of the car got light and away from me, won't do that again, it was a real shame as it would have been my quickest lap of the day, and the quickest of anybody at that point.'

The team are very hopeful that once rebuilt that the car and Nathan will be able to continue on to produce the very best result over the meeting.
