Auto Trader joins Tasman for 2006 V8 Supercar season
NEW Zealand’s favourite motoring magazine and website Auto Trader has joined Tasman Motorsport for the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship Series.
Auto Trader is part of Trader Group, which is owned by publishing giant PBL. Trader Group is the leading publisher of specialist classified magazines and websites in New Zealand and Australia. Auto Trader is one of a portfolio of 22 market leading publications that attract close to one million readers every month.
In a deal struck in December last year, Auto Trader will adorn the dominant branding position on the Tasman Commodores of Jason Richards and Andrew Jones in the next round of the V8 Supercar Series at Pukekohe in New Zealand as well as being a partner of the team for the entire season.
Tina Clyma, Group Marketing Manager of Trader Group, said that Auto Trader’s readers are avid motorsport fans and that the new partnership with Tasman allows the magazine and website to introduce new talent to its readers.
