Bird Soars To Double Pole In Championship Finale PDF Print E-mail

Sam Bird, 19, Claygate, Surrey, today achieved his first double pole position in qualifying for the Formula Renault UK finale.

The last two races of the season will take place tomorrow, Sunday October 15th at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, where all early events were put back by over an hour due to extremely foggy conditions. However, the organisers did a superb job to catch up with the busy schedule.

Tomorrow’s races are scheduled for 9am and 2.15pm but it is likely that the morning race could be delayed if the past two days’ conditions continue.
