Michael Devaney to race for A1 Team Ireland in China
Dubliner steps up as Ralph Firman tests for Team Honda Racing in Japan
A1 Team Ireland heads for the season finale of the A1 GP series in Shanghai with Dubliner Michael Devaney in the hot seat for the Chinese round of the series this weekend.
The 21-year-old Irishman has been A1 Team Ireland’s reserve driver all season, and has already proved himself while deputising for the team’s Principal Driver Ralph Firman at the inaugural Brands Hatch event and coming a superb 4th in the Eastern Creek Sprint Race in Australia in November.
Devaney, who is currently in Shanghai with the team preparing for the race, is delighted to be in the driving seat once again and said:
