REID WORKS INTO FORMULA FORD TOP TEN AT CLIPSAL Samantha Reid has finished a fighting 10th after today’s opening race of the 2006 Australian Formula Ford Championship at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide. The 18-year-old Adelaide driver scored the strong result after picking her way through an incident-packed and shortened 7-lap Formula Ford race on the Adelaide streets this afternoon, scoring her first ever Australian Formula Ford point in the process with her career best result to date. The BMS Motorsport driver’s strong result came after a difficult qualifying session that saw the Toshiba-supported car 17th on the grid in a competitive session. |
