Evangelou to debut in ex-FPR Falcon at Clipsal
WHEN TONY Evangelou contests the opening round of the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series this weekend at the famous Adelaide Parklands street circuit, it will signal his fourth year in the feeder V8 category. In each season, Evangelou has sported a new car, but never before has Evangelou fronted to the end of pit lane with such a quality piece of his machinery.
Dexion Racing’s Evangelou will contest the 2006 Fujitsu V8 Series with Jason Bright’s ex-Ford Performance Racing Ford Falcon BA. Evangelou will make his Adelaide track debut in the car today (Thursday), and after a short hit-out at Winton Raceway two weeks ago, the Victorian feels confident he has given himself the best chance to run with the leaders over the course of the year.
