| AUSTRALIAN GT CHAMPIONSHIP TO INTRODUCE A PERFORMANCE LEVELING FIRST IN 2006 | |
A new seeding concept unique in Australian Motorsport is set to level the playing field in the 2006 Australian GT Championship.
In an effort to promote closer racing, the Australian GT Championship has introduced a unique seeding system similar to those seen in golf or Tennis to ensure that all competitors can battle on an even level.
With the Australian GT Championship catering for a wide variety of automotive exotica - all with different levels of performance - Performance Benchmark and Performance Configuration systems were introduced in the 2005 season and proved a success with a wide variety of results and competitive racing seen throughout the year.
With the series attracting drivers from all experience levels
