BIGGER BETTER SHANNONS PRODUCTION CHAMPIONSHIP

It is only a matter of weeks before the start of the 2006 Shannons Australian Production Car Championship and this season is shaping up as the best yet.

Wakefield Park is the venue for the first of eight rounds, some ten minutes outside the NSW rural city of Goulburn.

Its on the first weekend of next month, March 4-5, where the APCC is one of the headline categories for the new CAMS National Race Series opener (CNRS) which will also feature the CAMS Gold Star for Formula Three, Sports GT/Porsche Challenge, Saloon Cars, Commodore Cup and Sports Sedans.

New cars, new names and expanded grids brings a new wave of enthusiasm to the APCC, says series administrator Garry Mennell.
