| F3 DRIVER JASON VINCE TO SUPPORT SHANE WARNE FOUNDATION AT GRAND PRIX | |
Jason Vince will donate $10,000 worth of sponsorship space on his race car to charity when he returns to Formula 3 competition in this year’s Kumho Tyres Australian Formula 3 Championship.
The Queensland driver has confirmed today that he will drive at both Wakefield Park’s opening round of the 2006 championship as well as the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix Formula 3 (non championship) Support races at Albert Park with Adelaide-based Team BRM.
In the process, Vince will donate the signage space on his Dallara F304 - Speiss Formula 3 car to the Shane Warne Foundation at the Grand Prix event in an effort to support the Melbourne-based charity.
The Shane Warne Foundation was formed by the Australian Cricketing Icon to increase his ability to donate funds and personal support to a large selection of children’s charities. The foundation works to raise money and awareness for the organizations that work with seriously ill and underprivileged children.
