GRM signs Lee Holdsworth for 2006

GARRY Rogers Motorsport will enter this year’s V8 Supercar Championship Series with an all-new line-up following the signing of Lee Holdsworth to join Dean Canto in the team’s Repco Valvoline Cummins Commodores.

Holdsworth, 23, is no stranger to the GRM squad, having driven for the team in last year’s endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst as well as the Grand Finale at Phillip Island.

He made his V8 debut with a sixth-place finish in the 2004 Wakefield Park V8 Development Series round.

The Queenslander will also become the youngest driver in this year’s V8 Supercar field, having turned 23 on February 2.
