2006 GOLD STAR PUZZLE BECOMES CLEARER AS TEAMS AND DRIVERS DECLARE INTENTIONS.

WITH JUST FIFTY days remaining until the 2006 Kumho Tyres Australian Formula 3 Championship gets underway at Wakefield Park Raceway in Goulburn, pieces of the F3 puzzle are beginning to fall into place.

Several teams and drivers have already confirmed their intention to attack the historic 50th anniversary Gold Star championship, this year’s field looking to be one of the strongest on record for Australia’s premier Open Wheel category with a plethora of competitive teams and drivers lining up to challenge for the title won in 2005 by West Australian ace Aaron Caratti.

One such team to confirm their participation at an early stage is championship-winning Asian Formula 3 outfit Christian Jones Motorsport, the team owned by the son of 1980 F1 World Champion
