SUPER CHEAP AUTO RACING LINE-UP CONFIRMED
Cameron McConville signs multi-year agreement
V8 Supercar team Super Cheap Auto Racing today opened its doors for the first time in the New Year and among those reporting for work was standout driver Cameron McConville.
McConville has signed a multi-year agreement with the team and will partner four-time Bathurst winner Greg Murphy in SCAR’s assault on the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship in a pair of identical Holden Commodores.
He moves from Garry Rogers Motorsport and replaces Paul Weel who has retired to concentrate on his quickly expanding PWR business empire, which includes the Super Cheap Auto Racing team.
Understandably, the 31-year-old McConville is excited about reaching an agreement with Weel and his father, team co-owner Kees Weel.
