For Sale: Dexion Racing Ford Falcon BA .
DEXION Racing is selling its Ford Falcon BA at the conclusion of the 2005 HPDC V8 Supercar Championship.
The BA Falcon was built in 2003 and debuted by Anthony Tratt at Oran Park. The car sat idle for 2004 while Tratt drove a Team Perkins Racing-prepared Commodore.
In 2005, Evangelou purchased the car and has used it in every round of this year’s HPDC V8 Supercar Series. Since the Dexion Racing team bought the BA, it has been upgraded to 2005-specification, with the latest shocks and brakes.
The Dexion Ford has qualified and finished within the top 10 six times this year, with a best outright result of seventh overall at Mallala in August.
The reliable car is available for immediate sale after the conclusion of the HPDC V8 Series at Phillip Island (November 25-27).
Price is set at $180,000 plus GST, and for more information, please contact Tony Evangelou Direct.
MEANWHILE, it’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Dexion Racing.
The team recently conducted a corporate drive day at Western Australia’s Barbagallo Raceway. As the HPDC V8 Supercar Series does not visit the WA track, the local Dexion groups and their guests have been starved of both seeing the car race, and to have the chance of some hot laps in the red and white Falcon.
Team manager David Moulden said the car ran faultlessly during the drive day.
