Canto canters to Tassie with GRM

FOLLOWING a strong performance in his debut with Garry Rogers Motorsport last weekend on the streets of the Gold Coast, Dean Canto will return to drive for the team in the next round of the V8 Supercar Series at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.

Team owner Garry Rogers today confirmed that the Sydneysider would again steer the team’s #34 Repco Valvoline Cummins Commodore in Tasmania, however he was working through a list of candidates for the BigPond Grand Finale at Phillip Island in November.

Canto already has a commitment to drive for Dick Johnson Racing in the final round of the HPDC V8 Supercar Series, which he currently leads, giving GRM the chance to give another driver an opportunity for the weekend.
