Friday, 29 September 2006
WITH the Supercheap Auto 1000 at Bathurst fastapproaching, Holden Motorsport has launched a new podcast/webstream show, ‘Lion Torque’, on its newlook website.

Available for download from today on www.holdenmotorsport.com, Lion Torque features a range of Holden’s V8 Supercar stars and their thoughts prior to heading to the biggest race of the year.

HRT combination Mark Skaife and Garth Tander, Toll HSV Dealer Team's Todd Kelly, Supercheap Auto Racing's Greg Murphy and Cameron McConville, Tasman Motorsport's Jason Richards, Jack Daniel's Racing's Steven Richards and Garry Rogers Motorsport's Dean Canto all took time to share their thoughts.

The newlook Holden Motorsport website, which was launched in the first week of September, has been developed by leading sports site producer Sportal, based in Melbourne.

New editions of Lion Torque will be recorded later in the year as the V8 Supercar Series winds its way through the final rounds at Gold Coast Indy, Symmons Plains, Bahrain and Phillip Island.

The new addition to the Holden Motorsport website is a mustlisten for any diehard Holden V8 Supercar fans who want to hear from the stars prior to the Bathurst event, which will be run from October 58 at Mount Panorama.

Available for download via both broadband and dialup, internet users can download Lion Torque at the following link: http://www.holdenmotorsport.com/defa...?s=lion_torque
