Protecnica Racing’s Scott Anderson has steered the Elf Lubricants NSW Holden VY SS Commodore to victories in class and outright competition in the Shannons Australian Production Car Championship at Eastern Creek Raceway, the team’s home track.
Anderson entered the day with a second place finish in the scratch race to his name, as the field lined up for the first of the first of two reverse-class-handicap-races.
The Elf Lubricants NSW Commodore quickly cemented itself in second place of the Class A runners. As the bigger cars cut their way through the Class B and Class C cars, Anderson soon found himself among the top five outright, with Drew Russell breathing down his neck all the day.
In the end, Anderson was able to hold out Russell to claim second place and keep his consistent weekend on track.
