Protecnica Racing heads to Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway this weekend, upbeat about its chances in round four of the Shannons Australian Production Car Championship.

Team driver Scott Anderson enters the weekend sixth in the outright standings, aboard the Elf Lubricants NSW Holden VY SS Commodore, and is just two points behind Class A leader Drew Russell with the series approaching the halfway mark.

In just its second weekend on the track, the Elf Lubricants NSW Commodore showed strong form at Queensland Raceway earlier in the month, finishing the weekend second in class.

The scene of the battle this weekend is Eastern Creek Raceway, the team’s home track, and Anderson believes another podium could be on the cards.
