KARTING STAR TAKES SEAT IN FORMULA RENAULT



INTERNATIONAL karting champion Ben Hanley ( Ramsbottom, Bury ) is making his debut in the Formula Renault UK Championship with Michelin at Croft Circuit this weekend.



The 20-year-old is rated as one of Britain’s top international karting racers competing in events from Suzuka to Monaco in the CIK-FIA World Championship. But now he is keen to make a full-time transition to single-seaters and has already made a good start, holding third place in this year’s Italian Formula Renault 2.0 Championship.
