The British Invasion into the Sports Car Challenge continues: another driver, and also another manufacturer from the British Isles made their debut in the series at the Eurospeedway Lausitzring on July 2/3, as part of the 2nd ADAC F1 Historic weekend. Roger Kilty qualified his Reynard on pole position for the Sunday race, while Mike Edwards introduced the Juno with Jaguar V6 power to the German sportscar fans.

Conditions were tricky on Saturday; torrential rain during the night left the track dry, but without much grip; and the Eurospeedway
