Competing in the final round of the Speed Energy Drink Australian GT Championship, Washington secured his second PDC title – a series for the Porsche’s competing within the GT field – as well as locking away a strong second in the GT championship points race behind series winner Greg Crick.

Bryce took his #1 ADRAD Racing Porsche GT3 Cup car to two outright round wins (Oran Park and Mallala) this season and topped the Porsche pack four times.

The results mean that – following last year’s dual successes that saw ADRAD Racing secure both the Porsche Drivers Challenge and the GT Championship – Bryce has now won three national championships in two seasons – a remarkable record.

“It’s been an up and down season,” Washington said following the final race at Eastern Creek.

“It would have been nice to have been able to get the GT Championship title as well but it would have been a big ask, we would’ve needed Greg to have a problem and not finish a race and you don’t want to wish that on anyone.

“Congratulations to Greg and his team on winning the championship.

“It’s nice to be able too win the Porsche Drivers Challenge again, though. It’s been a very competitive championship this season and it’s been hard work a couple of times, so to come though and get that title again is satisfying.

“I have to thank all my guys for their hard work this season. As always they’ve been unbelievable and are responsible for the success we’ve had.” He said.

ADRAD Racing and Bryce Washington would like to thank the continued support of their 2006 partners: ADRAD Radiator Experts, AdAir, Koyo Radiators, Protec, Abbott’s Printers and Stationers, BCG Cleaning Supplies and Buik Motor Works.
