Carroll To Test For Forsythe Championship Racing PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 02 December 2006
Great Britain’s Adam Carroll will be back in testing action in the States next week, this time for championship winning outfit Forsythe Championship Racing.

He will drive the car at the MSR Houston Road Course (December 11th-12th) with a view to competing in the 2007 Champ Car World Series.
Adam is no stranger to Champ Car after testing this year with the RuSPORT Team and was selected to be a reserve driver for Justin Wilson at the Champ Car Season finale in Mexico City.

The 24 year old, from Portadown in Northern Ireland said, “I feel great about having the opportunity to test with a team like Forsythe.  I’ve been working really hard on my physical training lately so I can be in top shape and give it everything I’ve got.  Next week I’ll travel to Indianapolis to visit the team at their shop and it will be a good opportunity for everybody to get to know each other and spend some time together before we get out on the track.

“Champ Cars are a lot of fun to drive, it’s a good driver’s car and you really have to hustle it around.  This year I’ve gotten to know the Champ Car World Series up close and it is definitely the championship where I want to be next year.”

Forsythe is one of the leading teams in the series and won the title in 2003 with Paul Tracey.
Adam is a former GP2 winner with victories coming at some of Europe’s toughest circuits, Imola, Spa and the jewel in the crown, Monaco.  He also successfully tested on several occasions for the Honda Racing F1 team.
