Trent Harrison, driver of the Project Racing Prepared Spectrum 010b, is looking forward to the season ahead. Despite having spent a year away from Formula Ford to complete his VCE Trent is eager to get back behind the wheel of Australia’s best open wheel cars. “I didn’t think I could put 100% effort in both racing and school this year” said Harrison.
“I cant wait, a season off hurt me emotionally but I am fully prepared
physically and mentally for the challenge ahead” said Harrison “The
fact that the championship is so competitive means it will be tough to
get results but will be good for the spectators.”
Although Trent has had fairly limited experience in open wheelers he
believes that the car is well capable of consistent top 5 finishes.
“Sean Scott from Project Racing always has a good set up and I think I
can give the team the results the car deserves” said a positive
Harrison. “I am confident that we can give Trent an extremely
competitive car and with his speed and work ethic we can be a serious
contender for the 2007 Victorian Formula Ford State Series.” Said Sean
Scott, Owner/Manager Project Racing.
When asked about what lies ahead Sean Scott stated “We’re quite excited
about the season ahead. Having taken a year out from Formula Ford
competition has allowed us to re-asses our commitment to the category.”
“For 2007 we are certainly committed to re-establishing ourselves as a
professional and competitive Formula Ford team.”
“We’re thrilled that that Trent has been able to join us in our
re-entry into Formula Ford competition. I was extremely impressed with
Trent during his time with Project Racing in 2005, proving to be both
fast and extremely dedicated to his driving.” “As a team, I believe
that we are better resourced and prepared than we ever have been.”
Commented Sean Scott.
Preparations for the season are well under way and testing will begin
shortly. “The aim of testing is to find a good and reliable set up and
mainly to get myself familiar with the car again” said Harrison
Trent Harrison is currently seeking sponsors for the 2007 campaign.
