International Formula Master – 2007’s new addition to the FIA World Touring Car Package – is up and running with 20 cars sold.

Positioned as one of the foremost feeder series to Formula 1 – with live international television coverage from Eurosport - Formula Master promises thrilling competition for fans, with cars designed for maximum racing ability.

The enormous potential has been recognised by some of the sport’s most established teams, including Jenzer Motorsport (Switzerland), JD Motorsport (Italy) and Euronova Racing (UK), who have all signed up for cars.

“We knew we had a good template with this series,” said President, Mauro Sipsz, who will be present at the Autosport International Show later this month, when the car will be officially unveiled. “The response has been overwhelming given it’s only just 2007.

“Everything is coming together perfectly. The car is a masterpiece, the venues are confirmed and the competition is flooding in. I’m very optimistic for a rewarding debut year.”

N.Technology has worked with prominent associates including Tatuus, Heini Mader and series partner, Yokohama to create the S2000. The car could make history in 2008 as the first single-seater to implement ground-breaking, environmentally-friendly technology with a hybrid engine, currently in development.

The series’ racing debut will be at Valencia, Spain on May 20 and it will then visit France, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Britain finishing in Italy on October 7.

Formula Master’s S2000 car will be officially unveiled at the Autosport International Show on Thursday, January 11, at 2pm.
