Brannam Website Jumps In Web Rankings PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 30 January 2007
Jan. 22, 2007 -- Chicago Although 16-Year-Old Jessica Brannam has not yet turned a wheel in the prestigious Star Mazda Series apparently this has not stopped her fans from visiting her website. According to ALEXA, the leading website ranking source, jessicabrannam.com is now the second highest ranked female driver website behind only Danica Patrick.

Her rise in popularity has been meteoric and the Alexa data supports this fact. In October of last year young Jessica, who turned Sweet Sixteen on Christmas Day, was ranked behind better known women drivers such as Sarah Fisher, Milka Duno, and the leading proponent of women in racing, Lyn St.James.

As of January 22, 2007 Jessica’s site surpassed not only Fisher,Duno and St.James but also that of established ChampCar driver Katherine Legge ! The move up the ladder did not stop there. In October of 2006 Jessica was ranked behind such headline male drivers as Buddy Rice and Sam Hornish. All of that has changed in a big way. Her site ranking went well above both of these Indy 500 winners. According to Alexa Jessica has also been ranked above IndyCar drivers Castroneves and Kanaan for quite some time.

The Alexa data specifically reports that jessicabrannam.com has experienced a 300% increase in the last three months while danicaracing.com registered a drop of 67%. It must be said, however, that Danica Patrick’s website is far and away the leader and, in fact, is in one of the top ranked website in all of sports.
