Kidderminster’s Formula Ford racer Nathan Freke will be in action at Silverstone this coming weekend driving in rounds 15 and 16 of the 2006 UK Formula Ford Championship. Nathan will be hoping for the results which will guarantee him the title, in simple terms he must score9 points more than the 2nd place man to clinch the championship with 4 rounds to go. The Newnet backed driver commented, ‘it would be nice to wrap it up this weekend, but I am sure that my
main rivals will have other ideas. We just need to do the same as we
achieved at Knockhill and then it will be totally in my hands, if not
then we keep going to the next race meeting.’
This meeting sees 2 Australian racers making an appearance adding to
the truly international mix on the grid. ‘It is good to see that the
Fords are now getting the attention they deserve, and I hope to
continue where I left off at Brands Hatch by beating all comers again’
say nathan.
