Bird Back On Top On Second Day At Snetterton PDF Print E-mail

Sam Bird (20, Claygate) headed the time sheets on the second day of official testing at Snetterton, Norfolk, yesterday, Tuesday March 6.

In a field of 25 drivers, Sam posted a best time of 1.02.298 in a late run in the afternoon.  “we had been testing different aspects of the set up all day Monday and yesterday morning”  said Bird “and it proved to be very productive.” 

“I’m very happy with the way testing has gone so far  and I’m continuing to learn with every day on track..  Carlin is a great team to work with  and I’m relishing the challenge ahead.”

Testing continues throughout March with the first race at Oulton Park on Easter Monday.
