Sports Car Challenge is part of the WTCC weekend at Brno |

Sports Car Challenge organiser Walter Pedrazza has secured an additional date for the 2007 calendar: for their third visit to the Czech Republic this year, the sports prototypes and GT cars of the SCC will go to Brno on June 16/17, in support of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. Along with two sprint races, a 100 mile event will also be part of the meeting.
Having previously shared a meeting with the DTM in 2005, this will be the SCC’s first appearance in support of the FIA World Touring Car Championship, the world’s premier touring car series which itself will be visiting the picturesque, undulating Brno circuit for the second time to continue the track’S rich tradition in touring car racing.
Spraking of tradition, the circuits of the Czech Republic are regular
venues of the Sports Car Challenge; this year, May 12/13 and August
25/26 will see SCC sprint races at the Autodrom Most, the as part of
the Truck Grand Prix.
