Dunlop launch fantasy BTCC – Win tuition from Matt Neal PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 23 March 2007

Dunlop are celebrating their third year of the title sponsorship of Britain’s biggest racing championship by inviting the public to choose their ‘dream team’ in an online fantasy version of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The championship sponsor and official tyre supplier is challenging race fans to test their judgement in picking the ideal team of drivers to win the Dunlop Fantasy BTCC Challenge. The winner will win the ultimate BTCC fan’s fantasy; a day of driving tuition at Silverstone, including a one-to-one session with reigning double Dunlop BTCC champion, Matt Neal and other top Dunlop drivers.

The winner will also enjoy first-class hospitality courtesy of Dunlop, with an overnight stay at the nearby Northampton Hilton and a dinner hosted by Matt Neal.

Simon Durston-Smith, Dunlop Brand Support Manager, said: “The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is the success story of UK motorsport in 2007 with a huge grid of entrants and millions of TV viewers. Dunlop Fantasy BTCC gives the public to take an active part in the country’s favourite championship”

Participants have to choose their dream 2007 Dunlop BTCC line-up and the drivers have been ranked and valued based on their 2006 championship position.

“It will be fascinating to see if the fans choose to spend their budget on a proven name such as Matt Neal or Jason Plato, or whether to gamble on one of the many exciting, but potentially undervalued, newcomers to the Dunlop BTCC” added Simon.
