Steele aims to shine in FPA 2007 PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 23 March 2007

Aaron Steele has committed to his second season of Formula Palmer Audi in 2007 in what he calls his 'shot at the title'.

Rochester's Steele, 17, scored a podium at Snetterton in the main championship, before going on to take second and top Brit in the Autumn Trophy last November. With 16 FPA races already under his belt, Aaron is under no illusions that he has to perform this year.

"This is definitely a championship year for me," explained the teenager. "Racking up the points right from the word go will be crucial and I think my year's experience will give me an advantage over the rookies."

After an Autumn Trophy which saw him finish on the podium for every race but still miss out on his first win, Aaron is determined to step atop the rostrum this year. "Although I was happy with how the Autumn Trophy went, not winning a race was frustrating to say the least. It's going to be important to get that out of the way, but I've got to bear the championship in mind."

Aaron's campaign gets underway at Silverstone on Easter Saturday, before coming to his home circuit of Brands Hatch for the A1GP World Cup Of Motorsport final from 27-29 April.

Formula Palmer Audi will compete on the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit as part of the A1GP World Cup Of Motorsport final from 27-29 April. Advance tickets are now available from just £29. To book, call 0870 950 9000 or visit www.brandshatch.co.uk.
