Great & British Pre-Season Test Day At Snetterton PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 23 March 2007

The Dunlop Great & British Festivals big pre-season test will be held at

Snetterton to kick start the 2007 race season.

On Monday 2nd April, the paddock will be open to the Dunlop Great & British

championships and their teams for the first ever pre-season test.

With a full day of testing, the championships of Dunlop Great & British

Festivals will provide teams and their cars a head start in preparation for

the first round of the Dunlop Great & British Festivals, on 29th April, at

Snetterton.

The Dunlop Great & British Festival organisers announced in February that

championships have been inundated with new entrants eager to compete in

2007 and although teams have not formally unveiled their cars, many have

announced their attendance to the pre-season test.

Lisa Davison of Dunlop states:  “With a fantastic season of eight

incredible weekends, the Dunlop Great & British Festivals is expected to

see packed grids.  The test day will offer teams the opportunity to make

final adjustments in advance of the first round at Snetterton.  The test at

Snetterton will enable teams to adapt their car set-up, to maximise their

performance and familiarise themselves with the circuit before the first

race of the season.”

Radical Sportscars have confirmed over 25 cars have already booked to

attend Snetterton on 2nd April, with greater numbers anticipated for the

day’s testing.  The MINI Challenge is expecting at least 20 cars to attend

the test, with new competitors expecting to make their debut this year.
