In an unprecedented move by a UK race car manufacturer, OMS Racing has invited its customers to compete in the OMS Drivers' Challenge 2007.
Drivers can compete at an unrestricted number of hillclimbs, sprints and circuit races to score points in the series, and with a £900 prize fund competition is bound to be fierce. The Challenge is aimed to attract the interest of OMS' wide customer base, which extends to Europe, USA and Australia.
With car 150 in sight, OMS Racing has produced an unrivalled range of single seater and sports racing cars. Extensive engineering facilities enable them to produce a variety of spaceframe and carbonfibre tubs at the York premises. Power units range from the diminutive 600cc Yamaha R1 and popular Suzuki Hayabusa to the latest Powertec Suzuki V8 and 4 litre DFL.
