Erkut Gives BTCC Champ Neal The Real Turkish Delight |

 Erkut Kizilirmak and back-to-back Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion Matt Neal joined together for the photo opportunity of the weekend at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit today, the Arkas Racing star presenting the reigning BTCC title holder with the true meaning of ‘Eastern Promise’.
Following on from a quote made by Neal last week where he stated his brand new Honda Civic was “…full of Eastern promise, just like a Turkish Delight…”, Erkut took the opportunity after today’s qualifying session to present the 40-year-old with a box of genuine Turkish Delight, direct from his homeland.
“After we saw Matt’s quote we thought it would be fun and a great
gesture to bring some Turkish Delight to Brands Hatch for him”,
explained Erkut, “He certainly found it amusing and if he thought his
new car was full of Eastern promise, wait until he tastes real Turkish
Delight direct from Istanbul!”
Arkas Racing is, of course, embarking on its first season of
competition in the BTCC this year with Erkut Kizilirmak leading the
team’s charge. Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Kent hosts the first three
rounds of the 30-race campaign tomorrow, Sunday, 1st April.
