British GT Damax Ascari Roars Into Coopers Square Shopping Centre |

Avon Tyres British GT team Damax will roar into Coopers Square Shopping Centre, Burton upon Trent, on Wednesday 18 April to display its mighty Ascari GT3 car. Coopers Square Shopping Centre visitors will have the rare opportunity to see up close this beautiful machine and even chat with some British GT stars before the team and drivers head off to race at Donington Park, Derbyshire, on 21 & 22 April.
In a Coopers Square first, Staffordshire motorsport fans are set to flock to the Shopping Centre to get a glimpse of the Damax Ascari GT3, meet some British GT drivers and to be in with the amazing chance to win a money-can’t-buy prize. The Ascari GT3 will be on display in the Main Square from 9am until 5.30pm.
Coopers Square Shopping Centre Manager Dave Chadfield commented: “I
personally can not wait to see the Damax Ascari pride of place in the
Main Square. There is a strong fraternity of motorsport fans in the
area and I hope they all take the opportunity to support this event. It
really is a rare chance to get up close to this wonderful racing
machine and to meet the talented drivers who race it. I’d certainly
love to see the car and drivers in action at Donington Park, but
someone will actually walk away from this event with an amazing once in
a lifetime prize.”
The Avon Tyres British GT Championship and Damax have teamed up with
Coopers Square Shopping Centre to offer the exclusive opportunity to
rub shoulders with the motor racing champions of the future. First
prize in the Coopers Square Shopping Centre free prize draw not only
includes a pair of entrance tickets to attend the Donington Park
meeting but the chance to actually walk among both the British GT and
British F3 cars as they line up on the racing grid prior to the warm up
lap. The winner will also be privileged to take a behind the scenes
tour of the Damax British GT garage.
One additional pair of tickets to attend the Avon Tyres British GT
round at Donington Park on 21& 22 April is up for grabs for second
prize and one final pair of entrance only tickets available for the
third prize winner. All entries must be received by 5pm on Thursday 19
April and the winners will be drawn and contacted on Friday 20 April.
Simply pick up your entry form in-Centre and post it in the competition
post box next to the car in the Main Square.
