Michelin will be an official partner of the Championship The new season of the Euroseries 3000 will start on Sunday from Vallelunga and the new F.3000 cars will line up with a new look and improved performances, as shown by the lap times recorded in last week tests.

The 2007 version of the F.3000 car will use again Michelin tyres, as last year, but now the prestigious French manufacturer has decided for a bigger commitment in the category and will therefore be an official partner of the Series.

Fabrizio Cravero (Michelin racing activities responsible in Italy) has stated: “The Series has always been very competitive and has shown a constant growth on technical respects; from our side we therefore believe that it was opportune to strengthen the relationship started last year.”

Another big news is then represented by the live broadcasting of the Series which will be shown in Italy on the main racing channel, Nuvolari TV, while negotiations are under way for the broadcasting in other European countries as well as in South America and Morocco.

Enzo Coloni, (organizer of the Series,) has commented: “I’m really satisfied and proud of having a partner such as Michelin and I thank them for the faith they have in the Series. Moreover the F.3000, as well as being an excellent school for young drivers, which was proven last week-end by the win of Filippi in GP2 and the very good performance of Ricci at Long Beach in Formula Atlantic (respectively 2005 and 2006 champions), it also represents a great show and therefore we pride ourselves of the good visibility that the F.3000 will now have”
