There will be two races for historic sports racing and GT cars at this year's British Grand Prix meeting at Silverstone on 6th - 8th July, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Eligible cars will be those built between 1950 and 1970.
"We are very pleased to be asked by Silverstone Circuits Ltd to run these races " said Grahame White executive director of organising club the HSCC. "This offers an opportunity for a wonderfully varied group of really interesting cars to race together and it will be a very popular addition to the week-end's programme. With a huge number of cars expected to compete, to include such makes as Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Lola, Lotus, Cooper and McLaren, it will be a real spectacle.
