Holden Drivers Dominate Top 100 Poll |

 Holden multiple Bathurst winners Peter Brock, Jim Richards, Mark Skaife and Larry Perkins have earned top grid positions in a poll ranking Australia’s Greatest 100 Drivers being conducted by a panel of leading motorsport journalists in Auto Action magazine this week.
Following triple World Champion Sir Jack Brabham in pole position at number one is motorsport icon Peter Brock at #2 (nine Bathurst victories, three Australian Touring Car Championships), #4 Jim Richards, #5 Mark Skaife and #6 Larry Perkins.
Between them, the quartet have achieved 22 Bathurst winning trophies and six championships for Holden, while at #9, Craig Lowndes, also won three championships and Bathurst prior to his defection to Ford.
Holden Motorsport’s Simon McNamara said: “These sorts of statistics are pleasing in that they support Holden’s ongoing contribution to our touring cars and V8 Supercar teams over the last four decades.”
