This coming weekend, Kieren Clark, the up and coming 18 year old Royston based driver, will be racing at the Brands Hatch rounds of the highly competitive Formula Renault BARC series.
Round 9 will take place on Sunday 26th August and round 10 on Bank holiday Monday 27th August.
Both days will see the 3Ks Racing team in action for qualifying sessions mid morning that will determine the grid positions for the 18 lap races in each afternoon.
Brands Hatch has been one of KC’s best circuits previously in the
Formula Jedi series and he will be hoping to maintain his good showing
again in the close fought Formula Renault BARC championship.
Team Manager, Tony Clark commented, “Currently Kieren is 10th place in
the championship, with only 3 points between the next 3 drivers so some
good results could get us well up the table. With his performances
improving each race we are looking forward to some strong finishes this
weekend. It will certainly help our sponsorship search for next season.”
Also featuring over the packed weekend of BARC organised racing, will
Formula Fords, bike engined Legends, plus Minis and MX5’s on Sunday and
MG races on Monday.
