MotorsportAds.co.uk, the new motorsport advertising website, is revolutionising the buying, selling and promoting of everything to do with motorsport in the UK. Significantly though, one is its key goals is to raise money for motorsport charities.
Whilst most ads are FREE, advertisers are encouraged to pledge a donation to one or both of the two UK motorsport registered charities – the Motorsport Safety Fund and the British Motor Sports Training Trust. Despite only being launched in July this year, the site already has numerous adverts and is steadily raising money for these charities.
Club racer and ex-BTCC privateer Paul Wallace is one of the founders. “MotorsportAds.co.uk creates not only the ideal forum for motorsport trading, but also creates a great opportunity for people to give something back to the sport. It’s a great service for free, so why not make a charity donation at the same time?” said Wallace.
“We considered making it an auction based site, but for most items in motorsports there may only be a few potential buyers, and generally people want to see exactly what they’re buying and do a deal. That’s why we decided to make it a pure ‘for sale or wanted’ website. There are other sites around who try to do this, but ours differentiates by simple design & a stunning search engine, and the fact that it’s being extensively promoted and marketed.”
MotorsportAds.co.uk is also operating a Sponsorship Club open to all UK competitors, and have become title sponsor of the MG Car Club’s MG Trophy.
