Russell Racing/Middle East Partnership Disolved PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 13 September 2007
Russell Racing Ltd would like to announce its disassociation with Thunder Arabia Motorsport and Middle East Racing with immediate effect.

With round 11 of the Formula Renault BARC Championship taking place this Sunday, 16th September, at Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire, British-born Bahraini racer Menasheh Idafar and Manchester’s Mark Gillibrand will both continue to race with the Warwickshire-based team in the headline FR2000 Class.

The break with Middle East Racing, however, does mean Bahraini teenagers Essa Mohammed and Mohamed Al A’li will not be appearing with the team. Russell Racing would like to take this opportunity to wish both drivers every success for the future.

Qualifying for round 11 of the 2007 Formula Renault BARC Championship is expected to get underway at 11.35 on Sunday, 16th September, with the 12-lap race itself timetabled to begin at approximately 15.40.
