It is that time of year
when motorsport titles are being decided and three British hopes are right up there in the World Championship stakes:
-
Andy Priaulx in the FIA World Touring Car
Championship
-
James Toseland in the World Superbike
Championship
-
Lewis Hamilton in the Formula One
Championship
To
help us fly the flag,
and hopefully get a little richer, the nice folk at William Hill are
offering us odds of 7/2 for all three making it and currently, the
racing form
is very encouraging!
Priaulx
will be defending
his WTCC title for the third consecutive year when he races in front of
home crowds at Brands Hatch this weekend. The 33-year-old Guernseyman,
who
races for BMW UK, is currently one point behind championship leader and
team-mate Augusto Farfus with six races to go.
Toseland seems a dead-cert
for the WSBK title, with his 41-point lead practically unassailable with just two races to go.
Hamilton
is ahead in
Formula One with a two point lead. He could score up to thirty points
for three wins but with team-mate Fernando Alonso right on his tail,
you can
bet he will not get an easy ride.
William
Hill’s Media
Relations Director Graham Sharpe was up for the British challenge. “As
with all sports punters love patriotic bets," he said. "If all
three win we’ll be revving up for a big payout!”
