Clark tests for Apotex Scorpio Motorsport in Formula Renault UK spec car at Snetterton.

Kieren Clark, the 18 year old Royston based youngster, is to test for the Loughborough Apotex Scorpio Motorsport team this week, in a Formula Renault UK series car at Snetterton.

The test in the more powerful spec car, is a chance for KC to get his first run in a car set up for the Formula Renault Winter Series, which the 3K’s Racing driver will take part in at Donnington and Croft at the start of November.

The Winter Series of Formula Renault runs the UK spec cars, alongside the similar BARC spec cars with out their normal air intake restrictor, as the 3K’s Racing team have successfully campaigned in their first year in the series.

The Apotex Scorpio Motorsport team are currently lying 3rd in the drivers championship for the British Touring Car supporting race, with “BRDC Rising Star” Will Bratt and are also 3rd in the entrants championship.

KC has put his racing ahead of his 3 week holiday in America. “This is a great opportunity to try out the faster spec car, and I’m really looking forward to getting to grips with it. I’m hoping that I can put in a good showing and this can lead onto bigger things.”

“It will be strange not having the family team around me for the first time in my racing career, but I’m expecting frequent phone calls from abroad to check up on progress! “
