New website for Autosport International PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 16 October 2007

Autosport International’s (ASI) new fan website is up and running at www.autosport-international.com in preparation for the 18th edition of the annual event next January.

The site is filled with driver interviews, the latest news, image galleries and footage of past live action from the show, which is the staple networking event for the entire motorsport industry.

Drivers from Formula 1, touring cars, sports cars and rally are all represented at the show, which attracted nearly 80,000 visitors last year.

“We wanted the website to illustrate just how exciting the show is for visitors,” said Haymarket Exhibitions’ Group Marketing Manager Nolan O’Connor. “We’ve packed it full of Q&As, competitions, features and loads of imagery to give a real flavour of how exciting the event is.”

As well as all the motorsport attractions, another big crowd-draw will be the first-ever PistonHeads - The Performance Car Show, which will run in parallel to ASI. More than 25,000 sports car fans are expected to attend for features including a concept car gallery, supercar paddock, track day cars, performance tuned cars and car market.

The PistonHeads Show is an extension of the web magazine Pistonheads.com, which is one of the world’s biggest online communities in the automotive sector with 1.1million unique users.

Autosport International will be open to the public on Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 January 2008 with trade days on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 January. Adult tickets start at £28 per day with children’s tickets costing £18.50. To book, visit www.autosport-international.com or call 0044 (0) 870 040 0396.
