| Ambrose begins his charge to the finish in Memphis |

Marcos Ambrose begins a run of four-consecutive races to complete the
2007 NASCAR Busch Series in the Sam’s Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports
Park in Memphis, Tennessee this weekend.
Ambrose remains focused on maintaining his position in the top 10 in the series standings in the Aussie Vineyards-backed #59 Kingsford Charcoal Ford Fusion. Some poor luck over the past couple of events has not stopped the Australian thinking positively about the final races of this season, with Ambrose determined to finish his first season in the Busch Series and his second in NASCAR on a good note. Ambrose has one previous start at the short and challenging Memphis oval. The Australian made his 11th start at Memphis in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series last year, turning in a solid qualifying performance with 14th. An incident ahead saw Ambrose sustain damage to his truck in the race and he finished 34th. Ambrose sees a strong finish to this season as important as he and the #59 Kingsford crew work to build strong momentum to carry into next season, with the first open test for the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series scheduled for January 18 at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Ambrose enters this weekend’s race having enjoyed a rare off-week last weekend and is now refreshed and ready to go for the final four races of the season, which are all staged on consecutive weekends. Marcos Ambrose – Aussie Vineyards-backed #59 Kingsford Charcoal Ford Fusion “I really didn’t do much during the off week, except change a few
diapers and do a bunch of little things that needed to be done around
the house,” said Ambrose.
“Sometimes it’s good to take a little break like that. I love to race. I’d be happy to do it every week. But we needed an extra week to put our run of bad luck behind us. We’ve had two bad races in a row, and neither were our fault. That’s all part of racing. It’s just as easy to have a run of good luck as bad luck. “We’ve definitely come a long way with our cars this year. The work that’s been done in the shop is incredible. It’s real important to turn that effort into good finishes. We’ve had some bad luck lately; we need to turn that around. “When you bring the car home in one piece, we can look at making the little adjustments to make it better for the future. When we bring it home with damage, we have to spend the time putting it back together and we have to start the whole process over again.” Ernie Cope – Crew Chief, Aussie Vineyards-backed #59 Kingsford Charcoal Ford Fusion “We’ve worked closely with everyone over on the #47 Clorox team and together we’ve really created a good package,” said Cope. “We just need some luck. We’re trying to wrap up a Top 10 finish, but at the same time we’re working on things for next year. We believe that all works hand-in-hand.” AMBROSE MONTREAL VISOR SIGNED AND UP FOR AUCTION ON EBAY Marcos Ambrose, driver of the Aussie Vineyards-backed #59 Kingsford
Charcoal Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Busch Series has teamed up with eBay
Auctions to offer an astounding piece of his personal memorabilia to
benefit the Animal Adoption League. The helmet visor from his August 4th, 2007 race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal is being offered up for bidding. The Simpson visor is autographed by Ambrose, who led the most laps in the event (37 of 90), prior to being spun out of the lead with just two laps remaining in what would have been his first NASCAR victory. The visor has his Discover Tasmania decal on the front, Milipro decals on the sides and the trademarked Wood Brothers/JTG Racing #59 decals as well. Ambrose not only signed the visor, but included the date - marking one of the most controversial finishes of the year. Click Here for the eBay.com Auction page to bid now. The auction began on Monday, October 22nd and runs through October 29th. All proceeds from the auction of this visor will go to support the Animal Adoption League, a service providing loving homes for healthy and homeless pets. 2007 NASCAR Busch Series Points Standings – After Race 31 1.
