Formula One Power Returns to Mondello Park |

Following a break of three years Mondello Park will once again echo to the glorious sound of Formula One power, as the ever popular EuroBOSS series for ex Grand Prix cars returns to Ireland on September 9th & 10th as the feature race of the Leinster Trophy weekend.
EuroBOSS is Europe’s only series for modern, ex-Formula One, Formula 3000 and Indycar machinery. Former Grand Prix Cars from Tyrrell, Benetton, Jordan, Simtek and Arrows are joined by F1 powered F3000 chassis from Reynard and Lola with other top class single seaters such as an Indycar Dallara and cars from F3000 and the Dallara Nissan World Series filling out the grid. The series allows motor racing fans a unique chance to get up close to their favourite race cars as well as offering a rare opportunity to see and hear Grand Prix cars in action.
Mondello Park’s Leinster Trophy event will see a quality field of EuroBOSS cars joined by the growing band of Irish Formula 3000 Car owners to create what should be the most competitive EuroBOSS grid ever assembled in Ireland. Two races for the EuroBOSS racers, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday, will be the highlight's of an exciting weekend for single seater racing fans which will also include two Irish Formula Libre races.
Also on the bill will be an International Formula Ford 1600 field racing for the most coveted prize in Irish circuit racing the famous ‘Leinster Trophy’ which has been won in the past by Ayrton Senna and
Mika Hakkinen. All of the other domestic Irish racing classes will also
compete over the two days, in a packed programme which includes the
final rounds of most of the top Irish circuit racing championships.
