Autosport
International (ASI) has always featured an eclectic range of
exhibitors from motorsport teams to engineering suppliers over the
years and 2008 will be no different with board game creators Tucker
Enterprises now
joining the show.
The
company has chosen Europe’s largest motorsport show as the
launch venue for their latest family board game, DISQUALIFIED! The new
driving game, which comes complete with high quality die-cast model car
and
playing pieces with moving wheels, includes realistic driving licences
and speedometers for each player.
The
object of the game is to be the first motorist to drive two laps
of the board without being disqualified by the Police. Alternatively, a
player may take the role of the Police Officer, disqualifying motorists
by
endorsing their driving licence with up to 12 penalty points.
Based
on the hot topic of speed cameras, the game also aims to offer
an educational theme. Any player using illegal equipment in the car, or
speeding, will eventually crash, leading to prosecution by the Police
and a
possible driving ban… DISQUALIFIED!
“Each
game is great fun and lasts no longer than 30
minutes,” said Andrew Tucker of Tucker Enterprises. “We are doing a
special promotion at the show to mark the launch of the game and
are looking forward to seeing the reaction of visitors to our new
product.”
Haymarket
Exhibition’s Event Presenter Ian France added:
“Having Tucker Enterprises take part further illustrates the content
and diversity of the show. How refreshing to get disqualified without
actually losing your licence!”
Tucker Enterprises will be exhibiting at stand 6860.
