Wilson 23rd and Bargwanna 29th in Phillip Island practice PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 30 November 2007
WPS/WOW Racing drivers Max Wilson and Jason Bargwanna have driven to 23rd and 29th respectively in practice for the Dunlop Grand Finale at Phillip Island in Victoria today.

Wilson set a time of 1m35.5435s around the 4.45 kilometre Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in the #8 WOW Racing Falcon, within a second of the times in the top 10. “Phillip Island is a great circuit and today was a solid start to the weekend,” saidmaxgrasspi-th.jpg Wilson.

“I’m confident that the WOW car will be around the mark. We will look at things now and see where we can improve the car for qualifying tomorrow.”

Bargwanna steered the #10 WPS Racing Falcon to a time of 1m35.9558s at Phillip Island in the two and a half hour, limited lap session.

bargsmghairpin-th.jpg“I think with some changes overnight we can get the car closer to the pace for qualifying tomorrow,” said Bargwanna.

Mark Winterbottom was fastest today ahead of Garth Tander and Todd Kelly.

“Max has made a solid start to the weekend today and I am sure that with the correct changes we can be better tomorrow for qualifying,” said WPS/WOW Racing Team Owner Craig Gore.

Tomorrow will see qualifying and the opening race of the Dunlop Grand Finale held at Phillip Island.
