F1's Webber looks forward to Autosport International PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 04 December 2007
Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber has confirmed he will attend the Autosport International Show on Saturday 12 January, meeting fans and taking part in the show’s popular driver signing sessions.

The F1 star, currently living in the UK, has previously appeared at the show in 2005 and regards it as one of the best events of the year for motorsport fans.

“I'm looking forward to attending Autosport International again as it's a raremark_webber.jpg opportunity to be able to chat with genuine race fans away from the pressures of a busy race weekend,” said the 31-year-old who completed his first season with Red Bull Racing this year, which included a third place finish last July at the European Grand Prix.

“Of course, the show isn't just about Formula One; there's always a huge variety of racing cars on display, not to mention the Live Action Area, so there's something to suit fans of all disciplines of motorsport.”

The Red Bull Racing driver also recorded an interview for the Autosport International Show, accessible by clicking here, ahead of next month’s show where he will take part in the Autosport Stage interviews, the F1 Racing Car Display along with appearing in the Live Action Arena show.

“We are extremely pleased to have another F1 front-runner such as Mark join us,” said Haymarket Exhibitions Group Marketing Manager Nolan O’Connor. “He is extremely popular with fans at the show, especially since he has done most of his racing in the UK, and we look forward to his participation.”

Autosport International will be open to the public on Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 January 2008 with trade days on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 January. Adult tickets start at £28.00 per day with children’s tickets costing £18.50. To book, visit www.autosport-international.com or call 0044 (0)870 040 0396.
