Mercedes-Benz is offering children attending Autosport International,
Europe’s largest motorsport show, in January a fantastic opportunity to drive a car for the first time.
Any
child over the height of 1m 50cm, tall enough to be able to reach the
pedals of a dual-control A-Class Mercedes-Benz, will be given
instruction before being allowed to drive around the arena, situated in
the Activity
Hall.
Petrol-head parents will also be catered for with thrilling passenger rides
in a range of AMG specification cars on an indoor arena.
The
children’s drives will be on a first come, first served basis on
the Saturday and Sunday of the show, whilst the passenger rides in the
500bhp AMG saloon versions of the CLK, CLS and E-class models will take
place
on trade days, Thursday and Friday.
“Children
at the show will be given a log book to chart their
progress,” said Mercedes-Benz World marketing manager Peter Rumboll.
“That way if they wish to continue the experience at Mercedes-Benz
World where they can also drive one of our cars, they will have a
record of what they have already achieved.”
