Hitech Junior has undergone a successful first day of
testing at the Spanish circuit of Valencia yesterday
with Miki Monras, Ashley Walsh and Roberti Mehri completing a number of laps
each with Mehri winding up second quickest overall. Walsh finished
seventh at the end of the day with Monras 13th and all three drivers
will take the wheel again today before the Silverstone-based team moves on to Barcelona on
Wednesday and Thursday.
Then, the team set-up by the current British F3
championship winning Hitech Racing Team Principal David Hayle will run Monras
again and will be joined by Luciano Bachetta and possibly one other
driver.
“It’s been a very good test so far,”
said David. “All three drivers have driven well and I’ve been
impressed with their performances. They’re all out again today and
hopefully they will all continue to improve over the course of the day.”
